Power Needs?
What would be considered a minimally adequate power (in watts) needed to power a typical ( 6" to 8", reasonably priced) ) in-ceiling speaker?? |

You talking a 70 volt system, or one with an amplifier built into the speaker box? Where is this speaker going? In an office or a factory? Your best place is to go to the manufacturer's spec sheet for the speaker. Consult a local installer who can come and do a site visit. --Dale |

Ambient sound levels (dentist office vs. boiler factory?) Ceiling height? Speaker spacing? Speaker sensitivity/efficiency? Program material (voice paging vs. high-quality music?) Distribution method (70V constant-voltage?) "reasonably priced" = ??? |
