Just wanted to let all of you guys who have helped where my stereo is at
now.
I got rid of the sony- went with an Alpine 7873 hu picked it up for 150
shipped on e-bay!
I got four polk ex 365 6 1/2 second pair 42$ on e
I picked up a jl 300/4 250$ only 2 months old and in ex shape it is powering
all 4 polk I like full mid range sound
I still have my alpine mrv f400 and it is powering my sub which is not what
i'm after (see my other post) mtx 6000 thunderbox dual ported 12" - so
basically once I change the sub I'll be happy for a while.
this is my first car system I've always done home.
I want a pair of 10" boston pro subs but they are pricey so I may go with a
pair of jl 10 w3 or w6's while everyone is grabbing up the v2's
Also I will eventually upgrade my speakers to components I like the boston
pros again but I' dont intend to mess with components till I sell this
vehicle this summer and get a proper install in my next ride- Fortunately I
have a friend who will be buying the polks - mrv and mtx when I change
vehicles to get me a start
