Default McIntosh Clinic

I have a McIntosh 2100 that was performance certified in 1976 at a
clinic. Now it needs service - one of the channels intermittently
drops.

Do they still have those free clinics?

No, they do not. But they still exist, and they will still service
your unit.

On the other hand, what model/type is it? Very most likely what is
wrong is more of a mainenance item than a component failure, based on
the symptom you describe.

Hello Pete/Bob,
Bob does mention the model, it is the MC-2100 Amplifier, which was in
essence the MC-2105 without Meters-Glass Face.

Besides McIntosh themselves, another good person to seek for
repair-resoration, would be Terry Dewick. Do a google, you will find
him.

Hello Audio Fans!

The clinics no longer exist. However, the McIntosh factory does
recommend, highly, Absolute Sound Labs in Minnesota, as a factory
trained servicer that has serviced for them since 1966. If that isn't
a good option contact Sharon Butt at McIntosh.

I have had several pieces done by Absolute Sound and they were
returned as if they were new.
