It looks like my expensive ads 6.5" speakers is shot... the cone will not
move...

I'm looking to buy a new pair but don't want to spend the $ this time.... so
maybe $100 for a pair.
There's certainly many out there and I could buy from a store or online ???

Just looking for opinions on 6.5" speakers and favorites places to buy

The Phoenix Gold RSd 6.5cs is about the best sounding set of components
for under $100. I challenge anyone to find me a set of comps that
sounds as good as these for the price:

Another good set would be these Pioneer components: Pioneer TS-D1720C
Pioneer TS-D1720C

The only downside to the Pioneer's is that they are 6.75" versus 6.5,
even though they come with adapters to fit in the 6.5" cutouts!

Good sound doesn't have to be expensive!
