RDH4--Slacked off for a bit, but still going....
.....Another thing I cannot figure out. In the text they refer to
schematics, and the valves are designated V_1, V_2, etc. (capital V and a subscript, the subscript being a numeral corresponding to a numbered valve). But sometimes they italicise the capital "V" and other times not. This seems to vary section-by-section. Is there any reason that the "V" would be italicised sometimes and not others? As I said, this is ONLY when the text is referring to a schematic, not in any formulas given.... ? |

As I said, this is ONLY when the text is referring to a schematic, not in any formulas given.... ? Yes, most definitely. It establishes that the text is the rare version which was typeset by an Italian while having an arguement with his wife at lunchtime. All other versions of this text known to have been printed have been too destroyed by pesto drippings and red splotches with traces of dried Chianti yeast to read. Suggest you contact a good radio museum immediately for a fair appraisal. |
