Default Mondeo (UK) Sound Inputs

I've got a year-old Mondeo Ghia, and have (so far) struggled to get decent
quality from an iTrip to get my MP3 music from my Ipod into the car.

Now the embarassing bit - by complete chance, I happened to notice an old
news article for the 'new' mondeo - which refers to a 3.5mm jack in the
glovebox for Mp3 players. This was news to me, but I've just checked it out,
and sure enough, there's a headphone socket!!!

It's definitely cabled, but I can't get the factory-spec Sony head unit to
switch over to this input - there's a CD/AUX button, but that only seems to
switch to CD, no matter how many times I press it.

Does anyone know how to switch the Ford Sony units onto the auxillary input?

Thanks

Martin
