Ladies, gentlemen,

We've just recorded a melodion player with his instrument. It sounds
quite good except for the rather annoying mechanic sounds of the
instrument's mechanism. Does anyone out there have any experience
recording this instrument, and could you share with us where you placed
the mics?

What we used are 2 Rode NT1's in our recording booth.
