Default Pye Consoles

Does anyone know any good sources of information about Pye mixing
consoles? A friend of mine has just bought one and is looking for any
info he can lay his hands on. The only details I have is that it was a
24 channel console with built in compressors - I might get to see it
over the weekend though.

Cheers.

I saw some pictures but I haven't seen it in the flesh yet. Although my
friend tells me that it is a mid 60's console, it looks later than that.
Apparently the routing is a little strange, it has 3 outputs and each
channel is permanently connected to one of the outputs - no panning or
anything like that. The colour of the fader knob denotes which output
that channel goes to.

Cheers.

James.
