I saw what appears to be a nice, refurbed Sony ps-fl72 linear tracking
turntable at a local shop that I'm thinking of buying as a back-up. Any
thoughts, opinions, experiences, etc would be most welcome. Thanks in
advance.........

It's a pain in the ass that should be bought strictly as a curiosity,
if you collect hi-fi pieces. There are serious linear tracking setups
but they are awkward, inconvenient-a compressor or air tank is
needed-and expensive.
