Default James Randi and Stereophile tussle

Readers will recall that Randi issued a challenge to some audio
publishing/marketing folk to do a test in support of the claims that
various audio tweeks,ie. stones etc., can be heard. That was some weeks
ago, now he tells us that Stereophile in the nov. issue has an opinion
piece in which some "views" are expressed about him and the challenge.
To recap, he offers a 1,000,000 US dallar prize to anyone who can, in this
case, demonstrate being able to hear such tweeks. Mr. Atkins, of
Stereophile, made a point in this group that Randi had not contacted his

Art Dudley's response in the Nov Stereophile is childish in the
extreme. Apparently he can think of nothing to say beyond making fun
of the fact that Randi changed his name. I'm ashamed of Art for
making such a schoolyard taunt.

Funny, there is no mention of Randi attempting to contact Stereophile in your
link.

The reference was to interaction in this group previously. A check on
googlegroups will find the discussion.
