I would also like to know if with a 2000 watt amp i would need some extra
stuff to make enough power to support it

You can figure this out yourself:

* double the power = +3dB SPL

* double the number of speakers = +3dB SPL

* double the power *and* # of speakers = +6dB SPL

Well, that all depends upon the impedance of your speakers and how
they're wired to your amp.

Say you have an amp which produces, into 4 Ohms, 50Wx4 or 200Wx2, and
four 4-Ohm speakers each getting 50W is our reference or 0 dB.

If you ...

....use 2 4-Ohm speakers, one per bridged pair, the net result is 0 dB
because you'll have doubled the output power of the amp (200Wx2) but
halved the piston area.

....use 4 4-Ohm speakers, two speakers wired in series on each bridged
pair of channels, the net result is +0 dB because you have the same
number of speakers and the same power (100Wx2).

....use 2 8-Ohm speakers, one per bridged pair, the net result is -3 dB
because you'll have halved the number of speakers and halved the power
output of your amp (100Wx2).

....use 4 8-Ohm speakers, one per channel, the net result is -3 dB
because you'll have halved the amount of power.

....use 4 8-Ohm speakers, two speakers wired in parallel per bridged
channel, the net result is +3 dB because you'll have doubled the
piston area (number of speakers) but kept the power output the same
(200Wx2).

So yes, it *can* matter...if you play your cards right.
