What happened to AGA?
Anyone know what happened to Alt Guitar Amps? I don't know if the newsgroup
has been shut down or if my ISP just doesn't carry it anymore? Thanks in advance. Angus |

By the nature of newsgroup servers, a group cannot be "shut down", period; only a vast majority of servers can decide to drop it. Or just a few, perhaps as trimming the fat (a few months posts takes up a lot of hard drive space). Or it might simply suck temporarily. If it ain't back in a while, ask your ISP (or whoever you get your newsfeed from). Have you tried re-scanning your news server for the full group list? Sometimes individual groups can get "lost" if the article count database gets nobbled for some reason. -- Mick (no M$ software on here... :-) ) Web: http://www.nascom.info Web: http://projectedsound.tk |
