Amplifier distortion only when "tape out" used
I have discovered a strange problem with my integrated amplifier (NAD
320BEE). If I connect either of my two VCRs inputs to the Tape 2 output of the amp (to record the sound from the amp onto VHS tape), I hear distortion when playing back any source (CD, DVD player etc.). When I disconnect the cable from the Tape 2 out, the sound is clear again. What would cause this? Could it have done any damage to the integrated amplifier? Thanks. |

You could try connecting the two with a Ground Loop Isolator. Radio Shack in the US sells one with RCA inputs and outputs.
