Default Alpine CDA9820XM trouble question

I have an Alpine CDA9820XM radio that will frequently resets itself
and am always having to reset time/station presets, etc.

Is this a known issue with this model? Ultimate Electronics has
checked the power, etc and have said nothing is wrong. I purchased
this just a couple of months ago.

I would surely appreciate any kind of anwer to this.

Thanks

No, your deck should not be doing that. It sounds like it is losing power intermittently
and wiping out what's in the memory.

If nothing else, the place you bought it from should replace it with a functioning deck.
Alpine is excellent quality and shouldn't be acting up at all.

If they do not replace it; who ever installed it should at least trouble
shoot the wiring harness to begin with. It's more than likely a bad
connection on the memory wire (either orange or yellow wire).
