Default M-Audi-o Delta 66 PCI-X and Logitech Z-5500

I am building a new computer, using a Tyan K8WE (2895) server
motherboard. It doesn't have any PCI slots for a 32-bit sound card.
(The one32-bit slot it *does* have is covered up by the PCI-Express
video card.)

M-Audio says their Delta 66 card will work in a PCI-X 100 MHz slot, so
I want to try to use it as my "regular" sound card in Windows x64 using
the S/PDIF digital, coaxial output and a set of Logitech Z-5500
speakers, with digital decoder, to decode the sound. Logitech says
that, if I can get the M-Audio Delta 66 to send an unaltered digital
signal out, then the Z-5500 decoder can decode anything the computer
can send it, e.g., Dolby Digital, THX, Dolby Pro Logic.

Has anybody had any experience with this? Will the M-Audio Delta 66
work in a PCI-X 100 MHz slot as a Windows x64 sound card? Will I be
able to watch DVDs with this machine and get digital surround sound?

Thank you! :-)

Jim
