Apple's iMovie is part of the iLife suite of software products?that
comes free with every Mac. The iLife apps are designed to enhance
users digital lives by making playing and working with digital media
easy for all users. As its name suggests, iMovie is about about video
editing.

Step 1: Load .3gp movie
Free dowload 3GP to iMovie Converter, install and run it, then click
"Add File" button to load .3gp files that you would like to.

Step 2: Select output format
Choose a format like "MPEG-4 Movie (*mp4)" which is compatible with
iMovie from the profile drop-down menu.

Step 3: Convert 3GP file
Click "Convert Checked Item(s)" button on the toolbar to convert your
3GP files to iMovie MP4 format.

Step 4: Importing convertion mp4 files to imovie
Launch iMovie, go to "file import movies". Select the converted MP4
video then click "import" to import the created .MP4 file to your
iMovie project. Specify a new Event name if desired. The imported
video will now be available for you to edit.
