Default If a car stereo has mp3 playback, can an ipod be plugged into it?

Depends on the make of the MP3 player and how old it is. If it's one of
the earlier versions, no. Look for an iPod jack, it's typically located
in the glove compartment (at least that's where my guy put MINE.)
