High end MP3 player?
I bought a used Total Airhead which I connect to my Rio Carbon and
Etymotic ER 4s. The files I listen to tend to be 320mp3 or 192 wma, which some say, approach cds in quality. Certainly they sound good to me, and the Airhead does make a difference. As amplification becomes indespensible I'm left to wonder if anyone manufactures an mp3 player with Airhead or similar electronics (and, of course the power to run them) on board. Perhaps in limited quantity? Perhaps in limited quantity? As more people like you with increasingly dodgy hearing get involved in Podtronics, amplification will become a necessity as you have descovered. |
