Quick question for Sonar users...
When I installed Sonar 6, audio driver bit depth (in Audio Options) was set
to 32 bits. However, my Gina3G card can only do 24b; which is probably why, at the bottom of all my projects (in the status bar), next to the available disk space and CPU usage, I see : 44.1khz, 24-bit. Am I just needlessly slowing down my CPU by leaving Sonar's audio bit depth at 32 instead of 24? |

Quick question for Sonar users...
You do know that there's a whole contingent of people over in the Cakewalk
group that have lowered their bit depths because it's supposed to *lighten" the load on their computers? I don't know what advice to listen to! :-S "Preben Friis" wrote in message . dk... see percentage of CPU usage and watch it. Exactly. Sonar even has its own CPU indicator for that. --Ethan |
