This is 2pid's 'vision' for what the US should be
At times, the interrogators went too far, even beyond the wide
latitude they were given under the Bush administration's flexible guidelines, according to newly unclassified documents released Monday. Interrogators took the simulated drowning technique of waterboarding beyond what was authorized. Mock executions were held. Family members were threatened. There were hints of rape. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32554914...news-security/ And 2pid calls prosecuting them a travesty. LoL. |

Do you know how old that report is? What's the statute of limitations? Aren't octogenarians still prosecuted for WW II war crimes? Stephen The pendulum will swing and one day, you too may be investigated for your claims of using your position as an officer to protest. Then again, you'll probably never be of any consequence to anyone so no one will care. ScottW |

LoL. *It was all reviewed by the justice dept at the time. *Do you know how old that report is? Really? The Jusice Department reviewed and approved interrogators going beyond what the Justice Department authorized? I somehow doubt that. LoL. Um, 2pid? Do you know what "went too far, even beyond the wide latitude they were given", and "beyond what was authorized" means? And as far as I know mock executions, threatening family members and hints of rape were never approved. As I said, your defense of these alleged criminals says that this is the image of the US you want the world to see. *The pendulum will swing and one day, you too may be investigated for your claims of using your position as an officer to protest. BZZZZZT. I never did that. Oooooops! *Then again, you'll probably never be of any consequence to anyone so no one will care. Strike three, and 2pid goes down swinging! What a dummy. |
