This is a SOTA STAR SAPPHIRE Turntable Vacuum Pump from my turntable
that I took in to have a tonearm hum investigated. The shop that was
working on it closed & disappeared with my turntable never to be seen
or heard from again.

This has been in my garage for 5 years hoping I would find a Star in
need of a pump (for cheap). I have since replaced that whole setup
with a VPI HW19 Mark IV. I removed the cover and tested the pump- it
still pulls a vacuum. The outside is a little scruffy but seviceable.
Someone handy could reroute the lines to use it as an air pump for an
air bearing tonearm or table...

Since I don't have my turntable to plug into this, it is being sold
AS-IS.
