i'm doing some research before purchasing a pci audio card for music
recording and use with vegas 4 video editing software.

for recording midi, electric guitar and vocals on a pentium 4, 2.4,
512mb.

undecided between:

Maudio 1010LT. costs about $280 at zzounds.com. seems to have all i
need. 10 in/outs is sort of an overkill for my needs. i'm just not
sure about the 2 mic preamps. are they any good? are these preamps
good for recording electric guitar?

the second card i've been looking at: Maudio delta66 w/ omni studio.
costs mo $400. seems to be the ideal package for me. but why is it
so much more expensive than the 1010LT?

would appreciate it if anyone could help me out with choosing between
these two cards or suggest a better choice in his/her opinion.
