Removal of phono stage from Musical Fidelity X-150 amplifier
Does anyone have any experience of removing the phono stage from a
Musical Fidelity X-150 amplifier? There is a separate riser PCB from the main PCB which has "PHONO MM" written on it together with a number of connections to the main PCB but without some more info I don't know what to do. Apparently the lower powered X-80 amplifier (which does not have the phono input) shares the same PCB and can be upgraded to the same specs as the X-150 including changing a line input to phono. All I want to do is reverse this step! Any help much appreciated. Richard |
