very nice top of the line Cary Audio Electronics SE-1 stereo single ended 300b
power amp with all the upgradable options. this amp has the upgraded cherry
wood sidepanels, Vitamin Q oil filled coupling caps, edison price speaker
terminals, high quality rca input jacks, upgraded usa 6SL7GT input tubes,
factory wired(not a kit), excellent sounding USA CETRON 300B tubes(these are
very impressive 300b tubes, you might be suprised at how close they are to WE
300bs, see reviews), original box and manual. this amp retailed for over $2000,
very nice. this amp can use 300bs or 2A3s with a simple bias adjustment. this
amp is very transparent, involving, detailed, spacious, smooth and musical,
very impressive sound. its output is 7 watts per channel with 300bs and 2.5
watts per channel with 2A3s. this amp received rave reviews in the basic
version, this upgraded version(from the factory) is very impressive. very nice
point to point wiring, nice parts quality and Cary incomparable design and
circuitry. this amp is perfect for horn speaker systems and other high
efficiency, high quality speaker systems. it is suprisingly powerful and drives
my quads, monitor audios and JM labs very well. it has very fast recovery due
to its very large power supply and no negative feedback design. this amp is
impressive, a very easy and affordable way to get into the magic of single
ended tube amps, especially 300b type amps. better get this one, very nice.
