quad ii power transformer or rewind needed
any one know were i can get a quad ii power tranny rewound in the uk,
Im just outside se london. alternativley specs so i can rewind myself. lastly i could be interested in a canabalised one. Thanks Edwin. |

Graham There's a guy in Quad users Group who has just has 10 power transformers for the Quad II re-wound and will be putting them up on e-bay in the next few days. I suggest you keep an eye on UK e-bay. They don't appear to have been listed yet. |

"François Yves Le Gal" While electrically compatible, it's not exactly the same size, won't accept Quad's bell covers and is a royal pain to fit to a vintage amp. ** This site offers a Quad II mains tranny - very likely an exact replacement. http://www.quad-musik.de/html/spares.html At over 378 Euro, its a bit like buying a Rolls Royce - if you need to ask the price, you cannot afford one. ........
