Default Toroidal Core Info

Dear RATs,

This site has a good, brief summary of the performance characteristics of
toroidal transformer cores when used for power transformers.

** Note the comments about the ABSENCE of air gaps and the benefits of same.

** Note the core loss is only 0.31 watts per pound weight of core when
operating close to saturation at 60 Hz.

see : http://www.tabtronics.com/toroids.htm

this is a bit more accurate...

suggesting that the gaps are so small that they can be considered
non-existant is quite different form stating they do not exist.

you appear to be attempting to present an incorrect fact (there are no gaps)
rather than an opinion (the gaps are so small they can be neglected)

** As if a ****ing moron like you would know.

suggesting that the gaps are so small ......

** "Since toroidal cores are wound from a continuous ribbon of steel, stray
fields from air gaps are eliminated."

"Since toroidal cores are constructed of a continuously wound ribbon,
there is virtually no air gap."

that they can be considered
non-existant is quite different form stating they do not exist.

** No it is not.

Now go back to masturbating over kiddie porn sites - asshole.
