Default Lost cd player extraction keys...

My cd player came with two metal sticks that when inserted together
remove the unit from the dash. I have a pioneer cd player. Is there
another way to remove my old cd player with out the keys? Maybe
something around the house?

The pioneer key is 4" long, 1/4" wide, and about 1mm thick. So if you have
anything like that is should work.
If you live near a stereo shop, they should have a pair you can have or
borrow of a few seconds it would take to remove it

Normally the small flat head screw drivers work too.

Is this for a Ford vehicle? You may be talking about something called a "CD
Extraction Tool" which consists of two metal rods that are inserted on
either end of the CD player. I recently had to remove one from a Ford truck
and Wal-Mart sold these things. Again, they are simply called "CD
Extraction Tool". Crutchfield sells them, too.

I cut down a metal coat hanger, bent a loop for my fingers, and filed the
ends to a point.
Worked on my "94 Ford Explorer with a stock Am/Fm Cassette to get it out, to
put in an Alpine Cd deck.

Garbage bags? No, I was talking about the little plastic things you
use to 'tidy-up' wires and whatnot...
See the following link for clarification:
