Just wanted to get a shout out to Paul for sending me a copy of the
manual for the Studer A807.

It's now aligned quite nicely for GP9 now (-.5 dB 18 Hz - 30kHz. @
15ips ). It took a while to 'wake up' from long term storage. One meter
wouldn't register until I hit it with a lot of level and the motor made
some noise until the lube loosened up. Now it's smooth as silk.
