Default stereo install help??

Hey guys, I just bought a new car stereo, wired it up as per the wiring
diagram & the way the old one was. I'm fairly new to this kind of stuff
so bear with me. For some reason there is no power getting to the unit,
at the same time I have noticed my in dash clock is now blank & it looks
like there is no power getting to it either. I have checked all fuses &
they seem to be fine, can someone give me a suggestion as to what it
might b??? The only thing I can think of maybe I have shorted it.
It's a daihatsu applause.
Thanks for help in advance
