alesis BRC and alesis HD24
hi group,
anybody here with experience on this setup? i have a alesis BRC and a alesis HD24. i can figure out most stuff but one thing is bothering me, the record button doesn't work. i know there are some limitations on using the BRC with the HD24, the BRC was made to control a lot of adat's not the HD24. in the HD24 manual is clearly stated what to expect working and what not. sadly of the record-button not working nothing is listed. when i unplug the adat-sync cable the record button does work so it's not that it's broken, but when plugged into the HD24 it doesn't work i hope someone can help me here, kind of useless having a great remote but not be able to use the record button... thanks in advance G. There are some real hangups between the BRC and the HD24. You can arm and record tracks with the BRC. Make sure the version is the latest version on both machines (on the web). Make sure you record a 10-15 second blank at the beginning of the song on the HD24. It needs that to sync since there is no tape involved. You can still start at 0.00, but the BRC needs to see the HD24 or vice versa. --Wayne -"sounded good to me"- |
