OK folks, on one of this thread's recurring subjects...

I know some of you wonder how we test loudspeakers & other audio
product. Our annual meeting & lab tour for 2008 falls on Saturday,
October 25. This is not an advertisement, only a notice to those who
want to see things in person. I will be there, demo-ing our standard
listening room, showing the anechoic chamber, etc.

My peers & I have done much work recently to ensure our methods
reflect contemporary knowledge. I do welcome serious input. I regret
that I cannot monitor these forums all that often, but I'll do my
best.

Rich,

I have posted a link on the AVS forum to your message. I talked to
Floyd Toole at a recent CEDIA event and he indicated CU was updating
speaker testing methodology.

Thanks, Randy & Steven. Dr. Toole's book is a very valuable addition
to our profession. A while back, I did consult with him, among
others, when I was researching the latest developments in loudspeaker
evaluation.
