Default Amp cutting out?

My amp tends to cut out, during summer months after some extended high
volume listening. After about a 5 min wait, it will come back on, but
once it heats up a bit, it cuts out again. This doesn't happen during
winter, so, it's probably a heat issue. Is there something I can do to
cool that sucker down???? Advice please!

It would help to tell us what kind of car you have it in, and where it's
mounted.

Here we go with the upside down myth again. Another thing to look at besides a
fan and a front bumper install would be the gage of your wiring that you are
using and also check your ground connection.

You didn't mount it upside down did you? Put a fan on it and the heat
problem will be fixed. If not, yeah, the front bumper will cool it down.

Mount the amp on the front bumper.

Wrong. Immerse it in liquid nitrogen. -273 degrees, that'll do it!!!
