They've been around for a while, at least 15 years that I'm sure of.
Their products have usually been mid to low end stuff for cars. I've not
shopped for car audio in awhile so I don't know if they are still in
business.

There are lots of choices for car audio speakers and they don't have to be
aimed at the car audio market. Any driver used in a home stereo system, can
be used in a car. The stuff for the car market tends in general to be
inferior.

Do some checking before you decide.

Pyle was a company from northern Indiana that was acquired by Harman-becker a
few years ago. Subsequently the brand-name has changed hands and now its be-ing
handled by a company from New York that also has acquired a few other brand
names such as Lanzar. My guess is that the speakers are now made on the pacific
rim or china. That makes no statement on quality.
