Humanity has lost a talented, courageous, and inspiring human being.
He set a great example from which the rest of us could learn a great
deal. I am genuinely saddened by his passing.

Yea, like don't ride in an equestrian event when everybody from your trainer
to every member of your family is emphatically stating that neither you nor
the horse has enough experience to do so.

I think he did set a great example of courage in the face of adversity in
the way he dealt with his injury after the fact. Sorry to see him go. I wish
he'd have gotten his cure. I suspect he will now.
