Default Blue Spot Speaker question

Have a very early 15" Blue Spot speaker.

It weighs just over 2 lbs.

Who made these clever but basic speakers.and when?

Any info out there. Even the manual that came with the speaker does not say
where it was made

sorry I'll add

blaupunkt was marketed as blue spot shortly after WW II, for obvious reasons
