Default Fuzzy-wuzzy was a pooch....

Scottie, quick question for you: Do you remember in the good old days when we
all called Arnii Krooger a 'borg? I'm sure you remember. Were you confused?
Did you worry that there were cyborgs among us? Or did you realize it was a
fanciful analogy?

Now then. Rhetoricians have a phrase they use for a certain type of argument.
It's called "reductio ad absurdum". I mention this because you seem a tad
confused about the "death panel" rhetoric being used by such "conservative"
luminaries as Sawah Pailin' and Ann Coulter. What happened is that some
freewheeling spin doctor thought up the worst scenario he could associate with
the House's proposed "end of life counseling". Was this spinner's speculating
limited by practicality? No. By common sense? No. By any sort of conscience at
all? No, none at all. The "death panel" red herring was a complete fabrication
that was barely linked to reality by a miles-long gossamer thread of paranoia
and fearmongering demagoguery. And yet you bought into it.

The next time you feel like bitching about Normals "insulting" you instead of
trying to explain every little thing for the 20th or 30th time, just remember
this: You, Scottie "duh" Witlessmongrel, repeated the "death panel" rhetoric
as if it were actually a part of the Democrats' program for reforming the
health care system.
