Jute!

You old reprobate...you could post more frequently than every
year or so, y'know...really, no-one "interesting" to converse with
hereabouts. Almost makes me nostalgic for the Magnequest
Mafia days. ;-)

So - here's a couple of links for you to eyeball; this is what I do
when I'm not flaming clueless leftists for their continuing idiocy.

First link is my 15"/36-watt design; the dude demoing it is an
*insanely* good player (and a longtime friend of mine) from
here in Denver, Mitch Chmara. If you're at all clued in on jazz
guitar, prepare to have your mind blown - this cat is the reincarnation
of Lenny Breau. And, oh, yeah...the amp ain't too shabby, either. ;-)
Bonus: A short discussion by Yours Truly follows the demo. All of
the stuff on this vid is off-the-cuff; GearMannDude set up a camera
and a couple of mikes, and the rest is fairly free-form. The second
vid is the smaller amp, 12"/24-watts. Mitch is using a distortion
pedal and a delay, so the amp's natural tone doesn't come into
play much here, but you get to see Mitch shred some *kickass*
rock guitar, playing a jap strat off the shop wall instead of his 355.
(He switches back to the 15" amp, which he prefers, to try out a
'52 Les Paul Goldtop towards the end of the vid.) Keep your eyeballs
on Mitch's right hand; the way he switches back and forth from plectrum
to finger-style is beyond smooth. Enjoy!
