strange cd player problem...??
hi hopefully someone here can help... i dont know too much about this kinda stuff but... I bought a used JVC cd player, installed it myself... it got stolen... so then i bought a new Sony cd player, installed it myself... it got stolen... so then yesterday i bought a new JVC cd player KD-G300 (the cheapest i could get since im buying them all the time :P)... installed it myself the same way i always have been... it turns on... looks like it's playin the radio/cds whatever, but there is no sound coming out of the speakers... UNTIL i press the brake pedal or i turn on the turn signals... then it starts playin the music/radio... until I switch the radio station or go to the next song on the cd then it stops until i press the brake or use the turn signal again... any ideas?? i haven't really tried to much to fix it... i did a reset of the cd player... unplugged and plugged back in the wires... thats about it so far... thanks -- jamieyg3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jamieyg3's Profile: http://www.caraudioforum.com/vbb3/me...p?userid=31088 View this thread: http://www.caraudioforum.com/vbb3/sh...d.php?t=202538 CarAudioForum.com - Usenet Gateway w/over one million posts online! |

Sounds like you have a short somewhere. Did you have removal faceplates on
your other HU's? I would consider an aftermarket alarm too.
