Extracting a WAV file from a CD
I want to extract a WAV file from a CD so I can import it into Sonar.
I have Sonar X1 Producer and Nero Essentials. Is this possible in either of these applications, or do I need something else? If I need another app, can you recommend something (preferably free). Thanks! Jonathan |

Consult its Help file for details. I don't know if Sonar has that capability. If I need another app, can you recommend something (preferably free). Reaper can rip audio from CDs. So can iTunes and Windows Media Player. I prefer EAC (Exact Audio Copy). |

Both should be able to do that. If I need another app, can you recommend something (preferably free). Wingows Media Player can rip CDs, go to the settings before and change to WAV/lossless . default is some WMA format. Otherwise, http://exactaudiocopy.de/ or the good old "CDex" freeware http://sourceforge.net/projects/cdex...ta%204%202009/ will do the job. |

I've used Sonar 2XL for many years with Sound Forge as an external editor in the tools menu Poly |
