Default Alpine Head Unit Problem

I have a Alpine CDM-7861 and I am trying to directly connect my portable MP3
player to it but the deck has no Auxilary in on it.
I have tried to use the M Bus to RCA adapter and that doesn't work.
Does anyone have any other ideas? I really don't want to have to resort to
using an FM Modulator.
