Lexicon 224 or M300?
Hello,
I want to buy a very good reverb unit: is it better to buy 224L with Larc v 8.2 or an M300? Whate else in the range of 2500/3000$ in hardware? Thank you Luca Italy |

Thank you Luca Italy These are 2 different sounding verbs. Second, the 224 is gonna be old hardware, which means you'll have to deal with stuff like power supply caps, etc in order to keep it quiet, unless the prev owner has already had it gone thru. The 300 also has a buncha other stuff like long stereo delays, chorus, etc. There's a place for both of these in your rack - you should listen to them and see which one sounds more like the reverb sounds you are looking for. If you go for the 300 you may want a 300L so you have a larc. Def nice to have. David Correia Celebration Sound Warren, Rhode Island www.CelebrationSound.com |
