Oh well. Not everyone can appreciate MD. The above unit is a newer MDLP
unit, so it ought to have one of the newer ATRAC compression chips. These
were supposedly a great improvement over earlier ATRAC versions. Currently,
the highest bid is US $15.50, which would be a great deal on this unit, but
I'd expect this will go higher. The addition of the external battery box,
backlit remote, and the Sony Mic would make this unit good for portable
recording.
