wire insulation cut out by manufacturer
I just purchased a Jensen car radio. About an inch and a half from the end
of all the wires in the back (power, ground, speaker, antenna, etc.) there is a band of insulation that has been cut out which exposes the bare wire. What is the purpose of this? Bob |
