My AES Show Report
Nice writing, but there must have been very little at the show that I would
call truly innovative. "Mike Rivers" wrote in message ... My 2011 AES show report is now posted. But, there was a lot of really good older stuff and a chance to talk to the people who made it. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis." |

My AES Show Report
Thanks Mike - a very sensible report as always cutting through the hype. Douglas Self's books and his website are always worth looking at too.

CES is coming soon also, but they aren't going to get a report this year because they changed their rules for press and now don't think my web site gets enough hits. I'll probably have some comments posted but if I can't even score a free lunch they don't get a show writeup. ;P -- "Today's production equipment is IT based and cannot be operated without a passing knowledge of computing, although it seems that it can be operated without a passing knowledge of audio." - John Watkinson http://mikeriversaudio.wordpress.com - useful and interesting audio stuff |
