I have a volvo 6 disc changer, the kind with the removable cartridge.
My problem is the deck is telling me there is an error, I cannot eject
the CD, I can see that one CD is loaded, but I can't remove the unit.
Does anybody know how to free the stuck CD/cartridge?

If there is a reset button on it try that 1st. most reset buttons are inside
the door. If there is no separate reset button, then it may be the eject
button. try pushing and holding the eject button for 3 seconds. If that
doesn't work try removing power from the changer for 5-10 min. then try
powering it up again.
If none of above work it may have to go to repair shop.
as a last resort and not recommeded but I have had success. you can try
using a straight pick tool or stiff knife blade or similar tool to try and
push the CD back into the cartridge.
