Can you say with certainty that Sonny never was able to find one?
Logically, you can't draw that conclusion from his ad. Maybe he has bought
a dozen . . . . he just wants as many as he can find.

I know how Sonny and the other vintage sharks operate. My guess is he
has a whale in the East that wants one bad, and they are genuinely
scarce-which means he is going to find one, covertly restore it and
sell it as "mint".

I've never seen one in MJ or Stereo Sound, which are the Japanese
magazines where you find out where stuff like this is worth.

The odd thing is that it is apparently a pretty mediocre PA amp.
However, there is no accounting for taste in the Orient.
