Bootstrapped Driver
Altho several successful vacuum tube amplifiers incorporating a bootstrapped driver have been built & marketed, there are some of us still concerned with the positive feedback used. Turns out, not much occurs.
But could it lead to instability? There is a simple method to calculate the maximum this positive feedback would be before even picking up a soldering iron. Anyone know how? Cheers, John |
