I am know using Echo gina audio card and Apogee rosetta Ad converter
Apogee rosetta is set to master clock source
they are linked with only coaxial digital not world clock

In theory yes, if the rosetta's clock has lower jitter then you will get
less jitter on the D/As.

Perhaps you could play a file back on the computer, and keep changing the
sync between internal and external on the gina control panel, and see if
you can hear a difference.

By the way, in response to your other post, I have an Echo Gina as well,
and the D/As on my Delta1010 and Arcam CD player both sound a little
better to me.

I had been using a Lucid WC. I noticed an improvement when I switched the
function on the Lucid to be a distro amp and started distributing the clock
signal from my Mytek A/D 2496 through the Lucid to the rest of my gear.

Anyone in pro audio who had any real analog television production
experience, or digital telecom experience, knows that a master sync or
clock is an absolute necessity for EVERYTHING in the chain, for
obvious reasons. I can't believe how incompetently digital audio gear
is sychronized, and how few people really know how a clock heirarchy
is supposed to set up. It's part of the reason that I find digital
audio recording to be lame.
