What are the unique parameters needed for acoustic guitar
MICROPHONE preamp.

None. It is sound like any other - no magic. Why the capitals for the
word MICROPHONE, by the way? You appear to be giving it a stress it
doesn't need.

Nothing special. It might be advantages, if you have no
other controls, to get a "channel strip" sort of preamp with
EQ, but that's a convenience and not a necessary item.

There are none specific to recording acoustic guitar. A good and clean
preamplifier is a good and clean preamplifier.

It will help, however, if the preamp has a low-end rolloff available,
say 100-120Hz. Or, if you're multitracking, you can do this in
mixdown.

Peace,
Paul

I'm a huge fan of the Avalon 737 for a guitar pre plus you can eq it a
bit if you want.

I suspect the OP was differentiating from a preamp designed for
acoustic guitar pickups. If he's been asking this question in guitar
forums without all the caps, he's probably gotten lots of suggestions
for the Baggs PADI or similar tools.
