I have a blown Audiobahn A2200HCT and was thinking about just replacing it
since it has given me so much trouble. Is Directed a good choice? Will the
DIRECTED AUDIO 1500D run at 1ohm?

The 1500d is designed to drive 1 ohm... no problem there.

I had an Audiobahn A2200HC that worked for approximately half an hour to
an hour before giving up the ghost. I've run Directed amps ever since
and would have no qualms about buying more. Hell, the sub amps worked so
well I bought a 6-channel and a 2-channel and 2 more of the newer
monoblocks as well as an active crossover and several speakers. They are
solid amps and heck even put up with fire and chemical extinguishers
well. You won't have any problems going with the 1500D, and it should
power your subs just fine if you wire them correctly.

Thats good to hear. Do you think that driving 3 12" 1000watt Audiobahn Alum
12s will make the amp run too hot? I like to listen to them loud. My
A2200HCT would always overheat and go into protection.

A simple question: Some of the ALUM series are dual 6 ohm.
Which do you have,
and are you completely certain you aren't showing your amp something LESS than
a 1 ohm load?
